WORTECH Land Surveyors was established in 1992 by Richard L. Worthey, a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor.  The company began by offering professional land surveying services to mortgage companies, title companies and individual landowners throughout Southeast Texas.  This early experience proved valuable in establishing the strong responsive reputation the firm enjoys today.

  
In December of 1996, the firm incorporated and became WORTECH Land Surveyors, Inc., opening a full-time office in Beaumont on January 2, 1997.  The firm expanded the scope of professional services offered to include: ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, boundary line surveys, mapping, topographic surveys, construction staking, pipeline routing surveys, highway and utility right-of-way surveys, subsidence surveys, aerial control surveys, environmental well location surveys, oil and gas well locations, hydrographic surveying, telecommunication site surveys, commercial site planning, subdivision planning, cemetery planning and platting, and forensic accident investigation surveys.  WORTECH provides these services to a client base that encompass both the private and public sectors and includes commercial, municipal, governmental, and industrial clients throughout Texas.

Today, WORTECH has a full time staff consisting of computer drafters, survey and mapping technicians and field crews supervised by experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyors.  At the forefront of technology, WORTECH utilizes state of the art surveying equipment including electronic total stations, robotic total stations, data collectors, automatic levels, high precision digital levels and Global Positioning Satellite systems.  All data collected in the field is downloaded into the latest computer equipment utilizing AutoCAD or MicroStation computer aided design and drafting software.  This enables the firm to create true field-to-finish survey plats and drawings, especially when used with Carlson Survey, GeoPAK and CaiCe surveying and engineering design software.  Clients realize benefits in both time and cost savings.
